Job Description

The responsibilities of the Undergraduate Marketing and Technology Assistant for CSTEP are largely associated with working with our Social Media Assistant to create content that will assist us in marketing and promoting the program and special events.

This positing will require the successful applicant to also serve as an information base for visitors and perform general office duties as assigned. The nature of this position requires that the successful application be both pro-active and responsive to ever changing programs and services.

Responsibilities

*Create print and digital media.
*Coordinate advertising and marketing of office/student events.
*Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies for the program and special events.
*Assess programs and events for effectiveness and appeal of audience.
*Contribute to planning and future direction of the organization, in tandem with the staff team (event attendance and support required).
*Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

*Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled at Syracuse University.
*Interest in and desire to enhance programming for underrepresented populations.
*Student centered.
*Self-starter with ability to take on new tasks independently.
*Dedication to training and development
*Strong interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
*Well-developed or the potential to develop organizational and administrative skills.
