Job Description

The Student Web Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new web applications. Must be able to edit raw html/css and have knowledge of JavaScript libraries. The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

*Perform updates to websites on a variety of content management systems
•Design and build HTML emails that are responsive.
•Maintain and enhance existing Web applications
•Perform complete testing of Web applications, engaging users as necessary.
•Conduct all user acceptance testing, and report results.
•Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
•Develop database-driven Web interfaces
•Candidate must be a team player

Important – Portfolio is required.

Required Qualifications

Must possess excellent knowledge/skill writing HTML and CSS3 with the ability to work on responsive templates.

Experience working with content management systems.

The ability to communicate with non-technical users a must.

Experience working with database driven websites.

Solid understanding of relational databases.

Excellent English-language written and oral communications skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Important – Portfolio is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of .NET 4.0+ (C#) as well as SQL and LINQ.
WordPress/PHP development
Experience working with web services
