Job Description

The Center for Career Development (CCD) at the Maxwell School seeks a part-time (15-20 hours per week) technical/office assistant. This position assists the CCD staff with managing our online and technical resources including the web and job system, as well as with coordinating and advertising our programs. The successful candidate will also have experience with administrative support role. Work hours are flexible within normal office hours (8:30 to 5:00). Work study award is required.

• Assist with updating the CCD website, and other online office resources
• Enter job opportunities into the career management system
• Work on promotional videos using adobe platform
• Act as assistant as needed and provide information and resources to students, schedule meetings and other related duties
• Run errands, process mailings, and other general office related tasks
• Database/infographic and design projects

Required Qualifications

• Thorough and detail oriented.
• Great interpersonal skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of adobe suite programs such as Premier, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects
• Technical skills such as HTML, info graphics, databases, web design.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness.
