Job Description

Primary function of the RSA is to monitor and control access at designated residence halls.


RSA’s shall promote a prefessional, non-hostile presence of authority, recongnizing, observing, and reporting suspicious, unlawful, and unauthorized activity in the residence halls and within the RSA’s immediate work area. Visually check the ID’s of all persons entering the residence halls and sign in all visitors and guests who are escorted and sponsored into the facility by a resident of the hall. Upon completion of mandatory pre-assignment training, RSA’s shall recognize their role and responsibilities in various emergency situations.
