Job Description

New opening as of 11/20/2017

Clean offices, public areas and restrooms.
Follow instructions and assigned task list.

Qualifications

High school diploma.

The ability to read, write and follow instructions is required.

Job Specific Qualifications

May be required to shovel snow in the winter.

Must be reliable.

Background check is required.

Some positions require a valid drivers license and person vehicle.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum and wet mop floors.

Wash walls, light fixtures, and windows.

Collect trash and remove to dumpster.

Move furniture.

Obtain and replenish cleaning supplies, paper, products, etc.

Physical Requirements

Must be physically able to:
• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Push up to 75-100 pounds (e.g. pail or trash container)

• Pull at least 40 pounds

• Mop, sweep, clean, dust large areas such lobbies, stairwells, public spaces, walls, windows and furniture

• Collect trash and remove to dumpster

• Reach above your head to clean

• Bend to a 90 degree angle or more, twist torso, walk up and down stairs if necessary

• Operate a scrubber and other cleaning equipment

• Walk and stand for extended, continuous periods of time

Tools/Equipment

Operate a variety of equipment including vacuum cleaner, floor buffer, spray tank, autoscrubbers, etc.

Use broom, dust mop, wet mop, etc. Work from stepladders.
